Upcoming author appearances

I am excited to announce that I have my first two author appearances scheduled! As someone who is much more comfortable with imaginary people than real ones, I admit I am a little nervous. But fortunately I'll be in good company. And if you live in central Texas, I hope that company will include YOU! :)

First, on 4/20, I'll be having my official release party for The Charge! I'll be signing books and doing a reading. We'll also be having some The Charge-themed drinks and snacks.

Oh, and you can pick up some other cool goodies, like this bumper sticker:

Autographed copies of The Charge are $10 and bumper stickers are $2.

As a special bonus, you can meet other Texan Curiosity Quills Press authors, Dawna Raver and Courtney Worth Young.

The party is hosted by Plug & Play, the co-working daycare that makes my life possible. People often ask me how I manage to write books on top of being a mom and having a day job. Well, Plug & Play is the answer to that question.

Join The Charge Release Party on Facebook.

Then, on 5/11 I'll be at the Young Adult Book Festival at Round Rock High School! It's my honor to be on the line-up with local authors P.J. Hoover, Mari Mancusi, and many more.

If you're able to show up at either one of these events, it would mean the world to me. Of course, I know the vast majority of my blog readers live pretty much everywhere but here. :) So, no worries if you live in Australia.

I hope to see you soon!

  1. Wishing you all the best on your book launch, take lots of pictures and enjoy! Oh, and get a picture of the cake before it's cut.

Will contact you very soon for "M" is for the Male Point of View. Monday's post.

I finally finished your wonderful book, I needed a break from the world, and you gave it to me! AWESOME, the writing, the characters, the world you've built! There is so much going on behind the scenes -- Excellent book and an exciting set up for a truly great series. I can easily see this as a TV series, and I will write and post a review. OMG, so much to do. . .

  2. Congratulations and good luck with the appearances. I'm sure it will go wonderfully.
If only Texas was closer to Ohio, it sounds like a couple of great events.
